After graduating from Cooper Senior High School, she continued her education, earning an associates degree in Computer Programming in 2001 from Minneapolis Business College. 

Laura’s personal life also flourished during this time as she married her high school sweetheart and embarked on the incredible journey of motherhood. With two wonderful children by her side, Laura’s priorities shifted, and she made the bold decision to move to Webster, South Dakota, in search of a nurturing environment for her family. It was in Webster that she first found her calling in the insurance industry, setting the stage for her remarkable career.

Years later, when Laura and her family relocated to Watertown, South Dakota, she couldn’t fathom pursuing any career other than the insurance industry she had come to love. Recognizing her passion and dedication, Laura joined the esteemed team at Meyer Insurance, a decision that would shape her professional trajectory. Initially, she wore many hats within the company, gaining invaluable experience and knowledge in various aspects of the insurance field.
